Among the 50 armed robbers who looted four banks [skye bank, wema bank , first bank] in Owo [Ondo state] including a police station on Friday 27th march 2015, 6 armed robbers has been killed by a team of Nigeria policemen led by the ondo state deputy commissioner of police. Vanguard reported that 2 policemen, ASP and 7 civilians including manager and deputy manager of the bank were killed by armed robbers who looted the bank at about 4:00pm.Items recovered from the robbers by the police includes 11 dynamite, 23 fire arms, 900 rounds of ammunition weapon, 1 million naira, police beret and uniforms.
