NERC SLASHES ELECTRICITY TARIFF BY 50%

Mr Sam Amadi, current Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) today announced the reduction

of the multi year tariff order by 50%.
The tariff was reduce as a result of complains and petition from consumers, mostly industrial and commercials consumers since the approval of the multi year tariff order in January 1 2015.
The 50% tariff reduction is expected to commence starting from march ending.
